AMAZING!!!! DELICIOUS!!!! too bad I was there just once. The pasta all’assassina with octopus was such a treat. Sgagliozze was crunchy and tasty. Yummy yummy !!!

We had a very pleasant early (to avoid queues) dinner in Pescaria at Polignano. The food was tasty, although it was served in cartoon boxes (for real more sustainable than regular dishes?), accompanied by good wine. I only wished portions could be just a little bigger :) Overall it was a good experience and I'd go there again, maybe in one of their other locations.

The place is a bit crowded but super good. The fish sandwiches are amazing and full

Very good sea food, the only thing, the pesto overpowered the salmon taste. But they have good portions and all very well cooked

I ate the famous octopus burger, but it was a bit too rich to eat one by myself. It would have been better if I had added something like hot sauce or lemon. I couldn't add anything because I had it to-go and ate it at the beach.

This is the original Pescaria — so popular that it now has multiple branches We came in winter, and thanks to the off-season, it was quiet and peaceful. (For tourists, Highly recommend visiting Italy in winter!) I had the signature octopus panini with fried octopus and ricotta — and wow. The octopus was incredibly tender, the seasoning was just right, and the unexpected combo with ricotta? Genius. Also had the salmon salad, and I have never seen such a generous portion of salmon. It was fresh, thick, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For once, I actually couldn’t finish the salmon because there was just that much of it.❤️

Delicious sandwich! I went on a Friday and there was a stage outside with live music, great atmosphere! It was crowded, but everything worked well.

This is a bustling, modern spot for the freshest seafood from local waters. A casual restaurant serving our of cardboard containers for dine-in and to-go. I wanted to keep it light so I could keep eating. The local crustaceans are superb and unmissable if you're visiting. I can't get enough of them and wish I had such shrimp at home. My favorite local shrimp are the 'gamberi viola' the purple shrimp, but those were not in today. I got three scampi crudo and a tartare of the local gamberi rossi. Both outstanding and well presented. A local beer brewed just for them topped off the light meal and made for a perfect intermezzo in my food tour for the afternoon. Be prepared for a line to order and a wait for the food—everything is prepared to order. I watched the gal behind the counter shell my scampi and chop the shrimp with a mezzaluna. Worth the hype.

Fish and chips - very good, but I would not recommend pasta. It’s not bad, but I would personally choose something else.
