I went there at the suggestion of a true Florentine, but unfortunately the "fiorentina" weighing almost 2 kg was completely frozen in the center... not cold... frozen. I hope it was a coincidence

I had lunch here with friends on a sunny day in early November, so we occupied a table outside. The service was fast and courteous and the dishes, with generous portions, well prepared.
The value for money is excellent.
Absolutely recommended!

Well, if you happen to visit Fiesole, do not doubt that it is the place you have to eat. Lots of local people and great meat. We have tried some fantastic spaghetti vongole and a spectacular Milanese, with acciugata, which is an anchovy sauce on top, which was magnificent. From what I have seen other dishes looked very good.
The terrace is very nice but it is not the cheapest.

Recommended by a local friend, this place is on the plaza and as perfect as a setting can be. One waiter though has 3-5 staff who are overwhelmed, and not enamored of Sunday Tourists.
Perfect food though- a simple meal of salt Baccalao Livorno garnished with a slice of a Tuscan pink grapfruit. Spaghetti Vongole, no complications. Great earthenware, sunshine and decent food. It was not pricey enough to remember what we paid.
The waiter, bless his soul, admitted to being cranky.
Dessert must be 200m up the street at the pastry shop… that’s perfection.

I had a trio of first courses with my friends: really good penne with meat and chianti, Florentine crepes and the ossobuco risotto didn't excite me. Excellent Fiorentina and the peposo also very good. The house wine isn't bad either.
