Excellent location, excellent food and excellent wine selection, excellent staff 10/10

We were pampered and looked after with attention, but without being suffocated by the presence of the staff Well-prepared dishes and very good quality of food, very interesting selection of wines. Excellent service! At the end of the meal we ordered coffee, immediately after I accompanied my daughter to the bathroom, in the meantime the coffee (according to the head waiter) was no longer hot and he had it remade on his own initiative. My daughter is not greedy, but she likes chocolate, the owner brought her a gluten-free chocolate to make her happy... and she succeeded! I mentioned these two small gestures because, they do not have a high cost, but make those who receive them very happy. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

A restaurant that stands out for its refinement and exquisite food in the heart of Lucca. There is a lot of attention to the raw material, and the combinations are creative, with a choice of both meat and fish, and a vegetable proposal. The Iberian pluma (replacing the sweetbreads that had run out) was truly delicious, the mussels with edible shell of Venus rice very original and tasty. For the first courses, super good venison buttons with mushrooms, as well as the sea urchin risotto, a must try! The atmosphere is quiet and the wait staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable gastronomic experience! Pepe Rosa in Lucca is simply a jewel! The hospitality of Simona and her team is impeccable, they make you feel at home from the first moment. The restaurant menu is well curated, with seasonal dishes and a truly delicious selection of starters. There were five of us and we chose to start with the starters: all excellent and studied in detail. For main courses, the sea urchin risotto was a dream, creamy and full of flavour. Also absolutely worth trying is the Viareggio caciucco, original and perfectly successful! Furthermore, the menu offers many gluten-free and lactose-free options, making the experience suitable for everyone. Another great strong point is the wine list: a renewed and very interesting selection, with accessible prices and a quality-price ratio that deserves a special mention. And what about the location? The oval square of Lucca is enchanting, and in summer dining at the outdoor tables makes everything even more magical and romantic. A restaurant that I would recommend without hesitation, and to which I will definitely return! Congratulations to the whole team!

With great surprise we tried the food which was all amazing. The shop is awarded from what we read later, the service was impeccable. we were treated to quite a few things they offered us the nicest wine we tasted in the restaurants

Excellent! My favorite place in Lucca by far. The food was fresh and very well prepared. The dessert was amazing. The staff was really friendly as well. It was elegant but I was dressed casually and did not feel out of place. I recommend it for a lovely romantic or family meal. Grazie!

The most incredible experience. One of the best restaurants I've been to this year. Luca is a credit to the team as sommelier and the chef is a passionate genius. Loved it
