Small but mighty, fantastic place.

A fantastic experience. I celebrated my graduation at this little restaurant. Everything was incredible, from the delicious and refined food (I recommend the peperosa appetizer, the pork tenderloin with pears, and the wild boar pappardelle with a touch of cocoa) to the friendly and professional staff, who were ready to explain each dish and make an already fantastic lunch even more enjoyable.

Kind and friendly staff, good and tasty food, very abundant dishes. I recommend it.

Pepe Rosa restaurant is a true gem in Pisa. From the first moment, you sense a welcoming atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The cuisine is simply excellent: dishes prepared with the highest-quality ingredients, presented with meticulous attention to detail, and surprisingly flavorful. Each course successfully combines tradition and creativity, with balanced and never boring flavors. The chef's passion and expertise are clearly evident. The service is impeccable: friendly, professional, and always available, the staff puts guests at ease and offers excellent dish recommendations. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, perfectly in line with the level of experience offered. Pepe Rosa is more than just a restaurant, it's a truly memorable gastronomic experience. A small but welcoming restaurant located on one of the most picturesque streets in the historic center. We were immediately greeted by the extremely cheerful and professional staff, who introduced us to typical local dishes through an immersive culinary experience. Our chosen dishes were: a tartare appetizer, pici with lampredotto and cavolo nero, ricotta-filled ravioli with orange and almonds on a cream of peas and tartare, and a ricotta dessert with turmeric cream, crumble, and cream. While we waited for the food to be prepared, we were treated to a truly excellent sausage and stracchino crostini. Each course excels not only in its meticulous plating but also in the sophisticated combinations of unusual ingredients. To conclude the meal, we were treated to cantuccini and Vinsanto. The price was extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A magnificent experience! I had high expectations because everyone I know who's been here has raved about it... I must say, they were fully met! The atmosphere was very welcoming and the service impeccable. Perhaps the thing I appreciated most was the attention to detail in the search for unusual yet never pretentious combinations and flavors. The skillful preparation and attention to plating, along with the warm welcome we received, made my lunch a truly enjoyable one. The prices are justified by the excellent quality of the ingredients used. I definitely think I'll be back.
