Fantastic place. But for me its even more. They make the best gluten free pizza I ha e ever experienced. I literally travelled back to Trieste from Budapest to have that again.

This pizzeria in Trieste is one of the best. It offers a wide selection of pizzas and other dishes. The pizzas are prepared quickly and freshly. The restaurant is spacious and cozy, both inside and outside. The prices are very fair, significantly cheaper than at the pizzerias on the Rive or in Trieste's old town.

Excellent pizza (in my opinion, the best in Trieste), friendly staff, many tables available, wide choice of pizzas and prices in line with the products offered. We often go back!
Update after 3 years (2025): in three years we have tried several pizzerias in the city and beyond, but Casa Pepe is still my favorite!

A mio parere, la pizza più buona a Trieste la fanno qui! Sono stata diverse volte in questa pizzeria e non mi hanno mai deluso. Sabato sera il locale era pienissimo ma l'attenzione al singolo cliente non manca mai! Tutto il personale sorridente e disponibile.... e i pizzaioli sono il top! Oltre a tutte le pizze, hanno una vastissima scelta di dolci eccezionali! Locale assolutamente consigliato!
