Pepe Nero In Prato

It was a pleasant surprise! I went to lunch with my wife and son. We chose this restaurant because we had heard good things about it but we were a little afraid that it was the classic restaurant with expensive but extremely poor dishes… We wanted to try the experience anyway and we came away enthusiastic! The prices are absolutely fair and not too high but above all the quality is very high! Both in the choice of raw materials and in the skill in preparing the dishes we fell in love with it! We shared an appetizer among 3 of us (just to nibble something while waiting for the first courses) and incredibly the dish was sufficiently abundant to allow everyone to eat enough to appreciate it. Afterwards each of us had a first course and as an accompaniment we chose a bottle of white wine (it cost 18 euros and the wine list is fantastic! There are bottles of all types and from all over the world). Even for the first courses the quantity of the courses was generous and both my wife and my son struggled to finish… I was “forced” to help them a little… eheh! Having tasted all three first courses, I can say that the skill of those who work in the kitchen is truly exceptional! Congratulations! To finish, my wife and I shared a second course. We were very pleased to receive the dish already divided into two plates. The extremely professional and kind service is another strong point of this restaurant. In total, we spent 97 euros (so about 32 euros per person). We did not have dessert or coffee because we were full and satisfied. In the end, the expense was more than acceptable and I have rarely been so happy after paying the bill. We will definitely return every now and then to be lulled and spoiled with such quality.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to an over 55 tennis team championship. I thank everyone, starting with the owner Sara, for the kindness and cordiality shown. Excellent quality of the dishes. It is my favorite restaurant and this says it all... you can choose from a vast choice of refined or traditional dishes with always superlative results... excellent raw materials and careful preparations, you can sense the passion for cooking. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it

Proof that haute cuisine doesn't need many frills. Mirko and his team are always a certainty. Tradition and innovation, raw materials and plating. Professional and friendly service. Hard to find a flaw; the place is simple but it is them and their cuisine that make it special. Excellent wine list and Sara knows well what to recommend. The prices are tavern prices while here we are in a restaurant that serves great quality. VERY GOOD.

Tutto molto buono .. mi è piaciuto molto anche il vino in bicchiere!! Consiglio per il marengo è di servirlo più freddo. ..il bagno fuori di inverno non è il massimo!
