This restaurant will forever remain in my heart.
I booked Pentole e Provette to celebrate my 8th birthday with my girlfriend.
We've always wanted to try a "higher-end" restaurant, but we never expected such an experience.
And I'm not just talking about the food, which is obviously fantastic (spaghettone was the real highlight of the evening), but about the passion, care, and attention that Luca and Rossella consistently and never overbearingly exude, as they describe their dishes with meticulous attention, respect, and truly PLEASURE, or simply as they ask if everything is okay and bring you more bread, because no one should take the bread away from you.
They call themselves the "ferrymen" to Michelin-starred restaurants, but as far as I'm concerned, I've never had an experience so convivial yet so full of care, logic, experience, and dedication.
We had a chance to chat with Rossella after dinner, and I can only wish them both the best for the future; they deserve it all. ❣️

Top experience. I chose this place from the Michelin guide, so my expectations were high. I must say they're doing the right thing, as I was blown away. The location is very nice (inside), while the outside is a small atrium with just a few tables, a bit recessed. We ordered the Capa di mare tasting menu and can confirm the extremely high quality of the dishes. Obsessive attention was paid to the preparation and presentation of the dishes, and the identification and interpretation of the raw materials was meticulous. All this is complemented by Rossella's expertise. The entire staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. A tribute to Chef Luca.
The wine cellar is on par with the cuisine, with carefully selected Italian and international wines. Oh, it was our anniversary, and they voluntarily brought a balloon, a candle, and a small dessert to our table. We'll be back for the meat menu.

An incredible evening, as were the flavors that accompanied us throughout the dinner.
We opted for the capa di mare menu, a perfect blend of traditional and innovative flavors. The pairing of sea bass and meat stock was incredible.
We were pleasantly surprised by the family atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere (both not to be expected at this level of dining) created by the wait staff while providing impeccable service.
Special mention goes to the wine pairings chosen by Rossella, which perfectly showcased each of Chef Luca's dishes.

A truly remarkable culinary experience: you can see and taste Chef Luca's passion, knowledge, and great taste in every dish.
The service was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and never intrusive.
It's a shame we're so far away; if we were closer, this would be a restaurant we'd happily return to often.

Pentole y Provette es una joya preciosa. No me había dado cuenta de que el menú era prix fixe solo (un pescado y una carne) y nos consternó ver que uno de los platos en el menú de pescado era uni, que mi marido no come. La maravillosa anfitriona nos aseguró que no sería un problema y cambiaron el ajo negro por la uni, que era una sustitución perfecta. El plato de aperitivos es increíble, al igual que el pan casero; el ragu de pato pappardelle con salsa de barbacoa era excelente y las mejillas de ternera con salsa de barbacoa era como la barbacoa americana de lujo de la manera más deliciosa. Estábamos demasiado llenos para el postre (y el taxi estaba esperando), pero el delicioso "pre-postre" de gominolas, paletas de jengibre y un exquisito sorbete de frambuesa con tuille era una orgía imaginativa de delicias. El personal es todo dulce 7 servicial, especialmente la anfitriona, pero es la personalidad más grande que la vida del chef (y talento) que hacen de este lugar verdaderamente especial.
