I have been frequenting this pastry shop for a long time, the brioches and all the pastries are of excellent quality, the cappuccinos are prepared excellently, the professionalism and kindness of the owner and staff is also appreciable. Highly recommended!!!!

It is a renowned pastry shop in Verona where the pasta dishes are very good. Unfortunately, this is already the second time I've found something in the pasta. A few weeks ago I found a piece of thread in the rice which they later told me belonged to the steel wool and today I found a blond hair in the cream of the pasta (I'm brunette and it was right in the cream)
The staff is often rude. Today the sales assistant was putting the last remaining rice I ordered into the bag when her colleague told her that someone had already ordered it outside. In a rude way he takes it away and tells me that there are no more rices and if I wanted a ricotta or a brioche... I understand that they had already ordered it but the way in which this inconvenience was handled was unkind.

A distanza di 6 mesi le stelle scendono a tre. Sarebbero due ma la terza stella è merito delle signore che sono alla macchina del caffè, davvero gentili, scherzose e molto educate (mi hanno fatto notare con eleganza che avevo "rubato " il cappuccino ad un cliente che era al mio fianco ma tutto con sorrisi e scuse da parte mia). Le due stelle che tolgo trovano motivo nella qualità della cornetteria che mi è sembrata calata ma soprattutto nella mal celata educazione ma evidente scortesia della persona che oggi era al banco della pasticceria (dove ci sono mignon e paste). Se il 1° maggio è giorno festivo per quasi tutti, non puoi permetterti di essere maleducata e trattare così il cliente facendo battute in dialetto con un altro cliente (evidentemente fisso e conosciuto) riferite al sottoscritto. Alle mie richieste (ci si potrà sbagliare nel chiedere qualcosa, no? oppure il cliente va fucilato al primo errore?) ho ricevuto sbuffi, alzate di sopracciglia e quant'altro, oltre alle suddette battute che tra l'altro ho inteso benissimo pur non essendo del posto. Ribadisco, se sei nervosa perchè oggi ti tocca lavorare, la colpa non è del cliente, l'apparenza fisica non giustifica un atteggiamento arrogante e dispregiativo. Avesse avuto il coraggio di dirmi tutto direttamente le avrei chiarito come funziona in un esercizio pubblico, soprattutto quando il cliente si scusa e si comporta in modo educato. Facciamo qualche corso di educazione e customer care, ragazzina, o cambiamo mestiere. Per concludere, invece, confermo l'eccellenza nella pasticceria mignon.

After 6 months the stars drop to three. It would be two but the third star is thanks to the ladies who are at the coffee machine, really kind, joking and very polite (they elegantly pointed out to me that I had "stolen" the cappuccino from a customer who was next to me but all with smiles and apologies on my part). The two stars that I am removing are based on the quality of the croissants which seemed to me to be lacking but above all in the poorly concealed education but evident rudeness of the person who was at the pastry counter today (where there are mignons and pastries). If May 1st is a public holiday for almost everyone, you cannot afford to be rude and treat the customer like this by making jokes in dialect with another customer (evidently a permanent and well-known one) referring to myself. To my requests (one could make a mistake in asking for something, right? or should the customer be shot at the first mistake?) I received snorts, raised eyebrows and so on, in addition to the aforementioned jokes which among other things I understood very well even though I didn't being local. I repeat, if you are nervous because you have to work today, it is not the client's fault, physical appearance does not justify an arrogant and derogatory attitude. If you had had the courage to tell me everything directly, I would have clarified how it works in a public establishment, especially when the customer apologizes and behaves politely. Let's take some education and customer care courses, girl, or let's change jobs. To conclude, however, I confirm the excellence in mignon pastries.

No vegan option (2024, pastry shop in a city like Verona, no provincial bar).
When asked, the lady at the counter responded in a not exactly "welcoming" way so I preferred not to even take the coffee.
I therefore have no way to evaluate the food or coffee.
I leave 3 stars because my companions say that the pastas are good.
