Excellent pastry shop for breakfast! The braid with candied fruit and chocolate and orange drops is truly delicious! Being very large it can be eaten at various times of the day! The coffee is also excellent! The staff is really very kind.

Historic Lucca pastry shop.
Already from the window and the comings and goings of people it is clear that "he has a lot to tell"
I recommend you try the buccellato even for a simple breakfast. If you have 10 minutes, enjoy it sitting at the tables overlooking the small square.

A fantastic place to have breakfast. The staff was very friendly and all the sweets we ordered were delicious.
It is located in the square with great views.

Pasticceria nei pressi della piazza S. Michele, ci siamo accomodati presso i tavolini esterni, abbiamo ordinato cioccolata calda con amaretto / caffè e alcuni dolci da banco. Buonissimo.

Must visit if you are in Lucca. This place was incredible! So much food to offer, so many treats! We could have sat all day devouring all the treats. The food we had was incredible, the parma ham tasting unlike any other we tried during our trip. Just so much tastier than other places.
The prices are very reasonable. We had a good selection all for under €20.
And to top it all off you can sit by the square watching the world go by, listening to the singers in the square and just enjoying the day.
Honestly could have spent all day just enjoying the food and atmosphere.
Will certainly return when I come again.

I stopped at this pastry shop with some friends and sat at the outside tables. We had 5 aperitifs which were served to us with peanuts, pizzas, chips and buccellato. I paid 42 euros which seemed like a lot for 5 aperitifs (they made me pay separately for the appetizers). My impression is that they wanted to take advantage of it. Friendly staff. I expected more from a historic venue.

Incastonato ( credo il termine più opportuno ) nella storia di Lucca , ecco il “ Buccellato Taddeucci “, un vero e proprio mare di bontà .
Ottima l’accoglienza con una attenzione verso il cliente non comune al giorno d’oggi .
