How lovely! A 10 for the exquisite hospitality and the ancient flavor that permeates this gem nestled in the heart of Lucca. Excellent coffee and expertly crafted desserts that hold a story far beyond the mere recipe.
Tradition, friendliness, professionalism: Taddeucci has all the best cards in the deck (to put it in Games' terms).
It really makes you want to take home a "souvenir," a taste to share with loved ones.

The best spot to buy & try Lucca's traditional buccelato & Biadina - local herbal liqueur...Fantastic service and atmosphere, such a special place offering everything made from the heart, following traditions and using simple & genuine ingredients. A very cute old style pasticceria with delicious cakes and sweets. The fruit jellies are not to be missed. They have a nice corner outside where you can sit and have coffee/cocktails.

Buccellato Taddeucci in Lucca is a beautiful, small café, very stylishly decorated and located right in the historic city center. The prices are fair, which makes enjoying the delicious specialties even more pleasant.
During our visit, the cathedral was being renovated, which made the stay a bit noisier – however, this was no criticism of the café itself, just bad timing.
I felt very comfortable, and when I am next in Lucca, I will definitely stop by again.

Stop by the Taddeucci family in Piazza San Michele (the location alone is worth the trip) for a dream breakfast, a moment of pure relaxation, or an aperitif that will make you forget the hustle and bustle! And in this summer of high prices, you can still sit in the beautiful Piazza San Michele, enjoy a portion of Buccellato (three slices, €2.50) and a coffee for a total of €4.50, served at your table.

A very good experience at this bakery; you could sit outside to enjoy the view of the place. We went every morning and enjoyed the food and drinks every time! Don't hesitate to buy some biscuits as souvenirs 😉
