We stayed in Ganzirri for a week and always had breakfast in this bar because their granita with brioche and cannoli won us over from day one. Adequate price, friendly and fast waiters. We will gladly return!

If you are in Ganzirri for a visit to the lakes, I recommend the Bar Messina to enjoy excellent granitas and typical Messina pastries!!!

Excellent breakfast. Excellent aperitif. Excellent dinner. Excellent value for money. Huge variety of products, all delicious. One of the best places in Messina.

A very good pastry bar, which makes mignon, mini, normal (€2.5 the right amount), maxi (€4 is very large) and magnum (€6) granitas, plus other things typical of Messina pastry shops. The brioche costs €1 and is very good. The flavors of the granitas are coffee, lemon, almond, pistachio, mulberry (only in summer), hazelnut, chocolate, plus other seasonal flavors. I recommend coffee with a little cream, or salted almond or pistachio. The prices are slightly higher compared to other bars, it is still a pastry shop, but the quality of the product is actually very good. The only thing that is out of place is the table service, which is sometimes very slow (even when there aren't many customers) and you have to pay. It might also be a fair concept to charge 10% of the bill for the service, but in my opinion it should only be on the bill, not on the people served. 2 granitas with brioche spent €8.40 in total, €7 granitas and brioche + €1.40 table service, i.e. 20%. In practice this almost becomes a cover charge, which for a breakfast is absurd. I recommend taking it at the counter and eating it there or at most at the tables inside. P.s. In the evening they have a reinforced aperitif or dinner/lunch right next to the bar.

Excellent granita, excellent service... Lots of choice for a good breakfast and an excellent start to the day... Definitely worth trying

Sin, sin and more sin If we focused on quality rather than quantity, this place that I have been frequenting for years now would earn many more points... Increase the number of people at the tables, waiters exhausted and clearly in burnout!

For me it has the best granita in all of Sicily. The service staff often seem stressed and the atmosphere is okay.

Sunday in July in Messina. Summer heat. Need to stop for something fresh. A bit of a random choice. Maximum gratification for the whole group, including the accompanying children. Sicilian breakfast with stuffed brioche and a delicious granita. Brioche with hazelnut and cream and coffee granita, consumed at the tables inside, although I saw that a good number of outdoor tables were available. Helpful and kind staff. The palate was satisfied and the day started off very well. It deserves it.
