Pasticceria Savia In Catania

Some friends in the area recommended a stop at this historic place, one of the most reviewed on the web. After sitting in the outdoor area, we started the dance with a Catanian arancino and a cipollina, which I had never tried before. Both exceptional. Even better was the classic arancino that we ordered immediately after. The desserts, cannolo and marzipan fruit, were no less. Cannolo with mixed ricotta, very delicate. Prices ok. Absolutely worth a stop.

Excellent pastry shop, table service to be reviewed, every time I go to Catania I pass by Savia and I noticed that the service is not at the level of the name of the place, for this reason I gave 4 stars and not 5.

It's worth waiting if there's no free space.

Writing about this place can only be writing about banalities: but, after years and years, is it so banal to prepare orgasmic arancini? The coffee is also excellent.

Delicious ice cream, I really liked the fior di latte

Excellent place for both sweet and savoury options. It has its reputation for a reason and we went 4 times! Each time it was tasty and the service professional (sometimes slower than others but understandable considering the amount of people they get). Their arancinis are a must and my favourite was their cipollina (puffed pastry with ham, tomatoes and onion). Their latte macchiato is delicious and the granita did not disappoint either. Their terrace outside can get quite hot so make sure you get some shade! You can also sit inside. A tip is to go for a wander around the park nearby afterwards to burn some of the tasty calories!

Proprio di fronte l'ingresso di villa Bellini sulla via Etnea si trova questo storico locale di Catania. Trovandoci nei pressi abbiamo deciso di accomodarci ad ora di pranzo per gustare delle arancine. Locale affollato con tavoli interni ed esterni ma il personale, molto disponibile, ci ha trovato un tavolo all'interno. Abbiamo ordinato tre arancine al ragù, due al burro, una al burro e prosciutto ed una alla norma (con le melenzane). Da bere due campari spritz, due aperol spritz ed un bitter accompagnati con patatine, olive, arachidi e due piatti con pizzette, arancinette e crostini. Considerazione sulle arancine da palermitano devo dire che erano buone, ma diverse da quelle che si fanno dai noi aldilà della forma. Prezzo finale ottimo personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Pasticceria storica, ampio reparto di salati, dalle arancine multigusto alle sfoglie ripiene. Ottima per il pranzo , posta alla fine della zona pedonale, ha molti tavolini esterni ed un accurato servizio al tavolo. Sempre super affollata, soprattutto nei giorni festivi, vi consiglio di assaggiare il torrone gelato che e’ davvero speciale . Ha tantissime torte da asporto, ideali per festeggiare, un’ occasione speciale e molte monoporzioni e mignon. Prezzi nella norma.
