The best pastry shop in Catania...I always go there, I highly recommend it. The pastries and hot food are always fresh...not like other pastry shops that have stale or undercooked hot food. Highly recommended, my father has been buying here for years. The people who work there are friendly, the pastry shop is spotless, and the pastry shop is spotless.

FUD - Bottega Sicula

19/03/2026: Although finding a great burger joint in Italy can be difficult, we finally found the best burger place in Sicily after searching tirelessly and with great appetite. The bread, the meat, and the design of the place are all excellent. Located on Catania's brightest street, it's a food and drink street with something for every palate. I especially recommend exploring this street from beginning to end. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️💡🏮👩‍🍳

08/02/2026: La Tana Del Lupo, or Wilcza Jama in Polish, is a wine shop—from Italian, "enoteka," with a wide selection of wines, both affordable and quite pricey. The restaurant opens quite late, even for Sicily. In season, from 6 PM to midnight, and off-season, from 8 PM to midnight. For us, Central Europeans, that's very late for dinner. But I must say, it was delicious, atmospheric, and the bill was acceptable for a Polish budget. The staff was reasonably fluent in English, and there was no problem translating the menu. The extensive menu has something for everyone, and everyone will find something for themselves in the wine, beer, or other beverages. You might be surprised, so ring the doorbell. With such a large wine bank, you have to be careful about its safety. Reservations are recommended. I recommend this place.
