Excellent bar for aperitifs, aperitifs and various pastries. Prices a little expensive but all in all acceptable for the quality chosen. Service a little slow on weekends. Advised!

Cozy bar on the seafront in Ognina. The granita was quite good and the brioche equally good, above all it was hot, although probably reheated. The service is courteous and fast. Parking may be difficult to find given the location.

I returned after years, the food was excellent as always, but what struck me most was the service, impeccable! I was served by Alfio, despite the place being full he was friendly, kind and extremely professional. Very clean environments

Pasticceria Quaranta is a guarantee brand! I've been buying pastries there for years and it's a spectacle both to see the counter full of delicacies and to eat what you buy. Try it to believe it!!!

The waiter Andrea was very kind and friendly, it's a shame to have found a hair on the cutting board, the quality of the food should be better, bombs significantly smaller than years ago where they were nice and big A little chaotic

Ho ordinato il pranzo per un compleanno e siamo stati trattati meravigliosamente dall'inizio alla fine. Il personale era molto disponibile. Il cibo è arrivato perfettamente caldo, consegnato da un autista amichevole nel tradizionale furgone Quaranta, e le porzioni erano molto generose (calamari fritti e pasta ai frutti di mare). Siamo rimasti davvero molto contenti perché tutto il cibo era delizioso e lo ordineremo di nuovo presto

Nuova Trattoria del Forestiero

06/08/2024: It was the nicest place we have visited in Catania. We went there twice, and again tomorrow. They have self-made Pasta as well as relatively many vegetarian dishes which is really great. The service is pleasant also for non Itslians... as far as I gathered, it is a family business. Prices are great and they serve a very good house wine.
27/07/2024: Delicious food, great homely atmosphere, great homemade wine. The food is fresh, so you have to wait a while, but it's worth it.

21/08/2024: We are a group of 10 people and we went to this restaurant by chance. We start from the assumption that the place was full, the service was excellent, without waiting and the food was very good and of high quality. The boy who served us was alone in the room and despite this the service was impeccable, attentive to every request, kind and very polite. There are few staff nowadays who take care of the place as if it were their own. It's a shame to be tourists otherwise I would have happily returned.
16/08/2024: We had dinner with friends, we had fish first courses and mixed grills, nueydi in particular, the first course with clams was sparse, but in general the dishes were just sufficient. Good pizza. I don't think we'll be back, high prices for decent dishes.
