I returned to Pasticceria Martesana in the Sant’Agostino area after having been there in the past for breakfast, and I can confirm: this pastry shop is a guarantee. This time I chose a marocchino with oat milk and two cream cannoncini, and I must say that I left satisfied in every aspect. The marocchino was prepared with care: the creaminess of the foam was perfect and the taste of the coffee was well balanced, intense but not bitter. The choice of oat milk added a sweet and light note that married perfectly with the aroma of the coffee. The cream cannoncini… a real delight! The puff pastry was crumbly to the right point, crunchy without being dry, and the custard inside was velvety, with a full but never cloying taste.
