I've organized several catering events with them. The service is consistently high quality, both in terms of food and staff, and the staff is extremely professional. Mohamed and Anna are a guarantee, along with Nadia, who has built a valuable team over time!
They are always available and responsive, responding and adapting to our needs.
We found all the dishes to be truly excellent. The guests were extremely satisfied.

A historic pastry shop under the porticoes of Reggio Emilia, boasting a well-stocked display of cakes, pastries, and chocolates, as well as a savory selection.
The highlight is definitely the delicious cake slices, the real stars with a balanced, never-cloying flavor, as are the delicious cream puffs.
But the compliments end there. There's no indoor dining area, so even in freezing temperatures, if you want to sit, you're forced to sit on the veranda (which isn't heated in the winter and is a hothouse in the summer). The tables are often poorly cleaned. The worst aspect is undoubtedly the service, which I'd describe as somewhat antisocial: there's certainly no shortage of staff, but they don't always make you feel welcome, and this applies to almost all the counter staff, including the owners, who always seem a bit tired and annoyed, barely greet customers, and often don't even notice you because they're distracted (even at less crowded times when they're not serving anyone) or busy chatting among themselves. There's also no table service; they just put your order on a tray and that's it. Let's just say that, having no competition, they don't pay enough attention to detail (or customers) and they don't have affordable prices.

Always a sure thing! I have considered it my go-to pastry shop for years and I must say that every time I have confirmation of this.
Quality and choice are certainly a strong point of this place, but what I also like is the professionalism of the staff and the ability to make you feel welcome.. a round of applause to Stefano who has been running this place with passion for decades.

Historic pastry shop, good but perhaps inferior to its reputation.
I have ordered there several times, the products are good but for its price they could be even better.
The employees treat you like a number, I don't feel a bit of warmth.
As a plus, definitely the variety of desserts.
As a negative, there is no table service and the tables outside are not exactly the best

Volete fare una colazione top, non potete non fare tappa qui, paste eccezionali,personale top, prezzi giusto. Tutto meraviglioso. Alla macchina del caffè il grande Ferro operativo come sempre nel servire tutti, e la sua spalla destra la ragazza con i capelli raccolti al centro che sembra che volino dietro al bancone, tutto accompagnato da sorriso ed educazione. Continuate così...

A beautiful pastry bar in the historic center of Reggio Emilia! They have very good and original desserts (alternatives to the classic brioches), such as limoncino pasta! They are really delicious and of high quality, as is the coffee. Excellent prices. Quick and attentive service! Super recommended!
