08/06/2026: During our bike ride from Olbia to Cagliari, we stopped in Armungia for the night of June 4th. The town is charming, authentic, and full of character, but being a small center, it doesn't offer many options for those arriving at the end of the day after riding dozens of kilometers and needing a good dinner to recharge. Thanks to the owner of our B&B, we were able to contact Sara and Giorgio of Ristorante 4 Venti. Something happened there that we'll never forget: the restaurant was closed, but they decided to open it especially for the two of us. Not for a large group, not for a special event, but simply for two unknown cyclists passing through. In an era where haste and commercialism often prevail, such a gesture is immensely meaningful to us. It was a true example of hospitality, generosity, and love for their work and their local area. As if that weren't enough, the dinner was extraordinary. We enjoyed a rich appetizer of excellent local cured meats and cheeses, and simply memorable malloreddus alla campidanese, one of those dishes that continue to come back to you even days after the trip. Sara and Giorgio are young, genuine, and passionate, capable of transforming a simple dinner into one of the most beautiful memories of our entire journey through Sardinia. Some reviews are written to evaluate a service, and others to express thanks. This one definitely belongs to the latter category. For the welcome we received, for the delicious cuisine, and above all for that gesture of extraordinary helpfulness, we simply say: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget you. Endrio and Marco, cyclists from Switzerland.
