In the heart of Milan, this excellent pastry shop offers limited seating, but it's worth the wait. Excellent for breakfast. We'll return several times because it's hard to choose what to order. Everything is excellent and beautifully presented. Clean atmosphere and friendly waiters.

A must-have for anyone who loves high-end pastry. The products are truly exquisite, with attention to detail and balanced flavors; the quality is evident. The price is certainly high, but in line with other renowned pastry shops and the name it bears. A delicious experience to indulge in every now and then, more as a treat than a daily habit.

I went to Iginio Massari's pastry shop in the Duomo area yesterday. The maritozzo with cream and custard and the truffle dessert were delicious. Everything was excellent.

I entered the pastry shop in Piazza Diaz in Milan for the first time, the product was excellent but the cleanliness and service were very poor, at 11 the croissants were almost sold out, and both the counters and the tables were dirty as was the floor, furthermore the gentleman at the counter of the cafeteria was rude.

I have to say it was below my expectations. The Venetian, as you can see in the photo, had very little cream and was quite dry. I ordered ginseng and saw the barista put chocolate hearts in the cappuccino. I asked for it for me too—and was given the curt answer, "Only for macchiatos..."?!!! But what was the point, considering the price I paid? Maybe the small pastry shop is good, but for breakfast it's a disappointment.

26/04/2026: One of the best pastry shops in Milano! I went there right away after seeing that they have cornetto with ricotta. Luckily they had it when I went there this morning. Affordable prices, beautiful scenery at outside and good indoor design.
15/04/2026: The service is excellent, but sadly everything else falls a little short. The brioche have a range of flavours with even a ricotta option, which while tasting very nice, feels too flakey and has a distinct lack of filling. When you combine that with the fact that they seemingly burn the coffee every time it leaves a bit of cumulative and unpleasant aftertaste that makes your mouth sore. The decor, while a little charming, is a bit outdated. It’s also in a very convenient spot, but the coffee being burned every single time makes it hard for me to recommend this as an essential morning pit stop.
