How to explain... Arriving there by chance, I wanted to have a drink at 9 p.m. Finally I find myself here eating succulent ravioli, a perfectly delicious dessert. A birthday was taking place, I have never been welcomed like this... Kindness, humor, love, sharing, it's all there! Real life with beautiful people. Thank you, Adolfino, the waiter and Antonio, his wife (🤗) and his family. You touched my heart, it will remain engraved. Thank you ❤️. Just come, come and you will understand!!

Homemade place, spectacular dishes, we ate very well, the waitress was very good, I absolutely recommend it! Fair price

First time I've written a review but this place really deserves it... the owners are very nice and approachable people, SPECIAL food, everything of great quality, the gnocchi with meat sauce and the wild boar fettuccine are highly recommended. If you are in Calcata Vecchia you can't miss a visit!!!

I went today January 1, 2025 with my 2 children we had a great time, welcoming and friendly, good food, fair price, the only problem was the owner from Lazio 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Unique place in all (positive) aspects

Ottimi prodotti e la cordialità del proprietario non ha prezzo. Assolutamente consigliata. Con le paste grandi, sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo.

We stayed here on November 1st, taking advantage of the visit to Calcata by booking several days in advance. Despite the early arrival they kindly let us sit in this characteristic restaurant, typical of the village; we know the owner by sight, Adolfino, a very easygoing gentleman and ready to order, we discover that several dishes were not available, dishes that changed depending on the waiter we spoke to. I understand that it was a party and that we had a bit of trouble choosing what to eat (the menu change had changed our plans) but despite this we still didn't like seeing the waitress roll her eyes clearly annoyed. We also witnessed a genocide of flies by a waiter who, intent on keeping the window open, decided to kill them with his bare hands above our table, one by one. Even the bathroom was not overly clean. Having said that, excellent prices, excellent quantity and quality of food which is certainly valid: meat, vegetables and tender, quality porcini mushrooms. unfortunately the gnocchi were clearly and confirmed to be packaged... they arrived soupy and some things ordered did not arrive while others not ordered arrived on the table. I like to think that since it was a party, we found ourselves unprepared for the unexpected amount of people!

But how much did I like this place? Informal and a bit chatty environment. Original furnishings and tasty food. Located at the entrance to old Calcata, not to be missed if you are in the area.
