Great food, not very attentive service for a simple Tuesday morning

I'll start with what I didn't like about Gelsomina: the bathroom. There's no handle, just a sliding door with an iron eyelet to open and close—not exactly the most hygienic. And the six-euro maritozzi... no comment (not even in Rome!). That said, the place is undoubtedly charming. A revisited shabby-chic classic, with a gentle charm and perfectly designed to win over the hearts (and smartphones) of Instagrammers. The atmosphere is meticulously crafted, with that soft, inviting light that seems to beckon you to stay a little longer. It's a pastry shop, so it goes without saying that the food isn't the house's signature dish—although, I must admit, what I tasted was quite tempting. The portions, however, don't always match the prices. On the other hand, the mini tartines are absolutely worth trying: small, elegant, and delicious. In short, Gelsomina is perhaps not a paradise of substance, but rather of the style of those who frequent her. ✨

10/10 maritozzo. We also tried their pistachio brioche but it was kinda average. Lattes were also just ok.

I absolutely loved everything: the warm atmosphere, the delicious dishes, and the very affordable prices. The service was excellent, and the two lovely girls who were serving made the experience even more enjoyable with their kindness and smiles. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back!

We were truly thrilled! The maritozzo was delicious, one of the best we've ever had. Despite the queue, the staff was super efficient: they seated us quickly and with great professionalism. Compliments to the staff.

Ci siamo recati da Gelsomina per una colazione/brunch questo sabato e oltre a trovare personale gentile ed accogliente siamo rimasti colpiti dal cibo. Abbiamo preso un toast con prosciutto e formaggio e un pane con uovo strapazzate e salmone, qualità ottima e porzioni abbondanti. Locale molto particolare, bello e pulito in cui si respirava aria di casa, sarà anche per l’accoglienza del personale, molto giovane, sorridente e premuroso. Approvato assolutamente

Locale molto bello (via Tenca) ma la differenza la fanno ragazzi cortesi ed accoglienti,attenti al saluto e alla cortesia al tavolo! Bravi! Prodotto molto buono ,preso cappuccio e maritozzo mondiale! Consigliatissimo!
