A time machine that transports you to the past, a past filled with tenderness and hard work. A small, simple, and clean place, the desserts are even simpler and more carefully crafted, and delicious. The lady behind the counter is a gift of life: I was enchanted watching her at work, I was moved, and I'm still moved writing these few lines. I'll return to Porta Genova just to have a pastry and a coffee (delicious!) in this wonderful place.

A small pastry shop run by a grandpa and grandma, with a simple and authentic atmosphere. The cakes are decent, but not exceptional.

The passion with which Giovanna tells you how she prepares her desserts is touching... I love this authentic place that in addition to quality still has super competitive prices ❤️

A magnificent, time-honored pastry shop. The aroma that fills your mouth as soon as you enter brings back memories of my childhood. The two very kind owners served me excellent coffee and a truly delicious cream-filled tortello. I lingered there for a good half hour, savoring the tranquility of the place, almost as if time had stood still. For a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, without the pretensions of a modern pastry shop, but simply simple, expertly crafted products, I highly recommend it.

I bought some croissants to take away, they were very good. In this place I saw the atmosphere and kindness of times gone by. I will definitely return next time.

This place is quintessential Italy in my opinion. Three tables and 12 chairs is all this place has room for inside with it's mid century style and charm.
I'm not sure English is spoken by the proprietor, but he played along when I used the handful of Italian that I have learned since arriving for the Winter Olympics.
You can almost envision 60-65 years ago, people sitting around their table, silver trays being served with espressos and piccolo pastries for an afternoon of "la dolce vida".
If the place looks closed, do not leave without pushing gently on the door to see if it is unlocked! Had we not done that, we would have missed this five 🌟 gem.

I heard that the Fugazza pastry shop is closing... the legendary Giovanna... Giampiero, her son... unforgettable, polite, and discreet people... lovely people, in short... happy to have met them. I'll go and say my fondest goodbyes.
