Sicilian granita with cream SUPER!!!!!

It's worth coming to Ortica just for this place!!! It's a Sicilian place that traditionally serves both sweet and savory treats. I only tried the sweet treat, and it was fantastic. The highlight, in particular, is the granita and brioche with tuppo. The granita comes in two flavors and cream; I chose chocolate and almond with cream, but I also tried pistachio and lemon. They have several other flavors; it's perhaps the place in Milan with the most choice. In terms of quality, it's undoubtedly one of the best in Milan, creamy and solid enough without being too sweet, just the way I like it. We're talking about granitas in the oriental Sicilian style, as the name suggests. The brioche was filled with ricotta cream and chocolate chips, a true feast for the eyes and the palate. The cream was incredible, and the brioche itself was truly homemade, both in terms of consistency and size, as it was truly huge. Perfect for pairing with granita rather than eating on its own. Absolutely competitive prices. It's a place worth visiting even if you're on the other side of Milan, like I was. I'll definitely be back to try other granitas, but especially other products, and also to try the savory portions, perhaps to take away. Congratulations to the owners and staff, because I feel like this place has become the hub of the entire Ortica community.

The restaurant doesn't have air conditioning (or they hadn't turned it on on July 19th). Slow and confusing service. The hot food was good (we tried the mini pizzas and arancini), but the granita was decent and too sugary; the sugar flavor covered the flavor of the granita itself. The brioche was a bit dry.

My sister and I went to this pastry shop last Saturday. The atmosphere is familiar and takes you back to the old days but it has a profoundly genuine taste. We had two almond granitas and coffee with cream, delicious! Authentic flavors and quality products! We will return

What a top granita, Milanese price unfortunately, but high quality, retro atmosphere but top welcome. It's also worth stopping for a snack.

A corner of authentic Sicilian flavors in a typical neighborhood of the city, with a spartan decor but that tastes of authenticity like the products that are sold. The service is also too fast, which is not always an advantage. It is definitely a place that I recommend to eat a granita with the true Sicilian consistency and taste and not the vulgar colored ice.

Good granita, maybe a little liquid but outside with 38 degrees of temperature you can understand. We will return to verify better...
