On March 8th, while strolling along Via Repubblica in Parma, I passed the window of this renowned Pasticceria Cocconi. I was drawn to the mimosa cakes and the mini/single-serving tarts, and decided to go in. The mimosa cakes ranged in price from €21 to €35, while the single-serving tarts were unpriced, but I decided to opt for four single-serving tarts anyway. The tart was very good, sweet but not cloying, the cream was light, and the presentation was meticulously crafted. But honestly, €7 each, for a total of €28 for four tarts, seemed excessive. Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting that price, and partly out of shyness, I didn't ask the price of each tart first, which was a mistake!
One last thing: the lady who served me was a bit rude and annoyed, and she put the package on another shelf, as if to point out that I was wasting time putting away the rest. Well...

Great for a break while strolling through Parma's city center. A selection of pastries and savory treats. For those who love chocolate, they also offer a selection of various shapes to eat in or take away. Very efficient and friendly service.

The place is narrow and poorly located, the service is chaotic, the pastries are decent, the cappuccino mediocre.
High prices.

We stopped by this pastry shop by chance, drawn by the window display. We went in and ordered a single portion of Susanna cake and a slice of Spongata to go, plus a coffee at the counter. The pastries were good, as was the coffee. The total bill was €6.50, reasonable for what we consumed.

Given the day (Friday), unfortunately we found little choice, but everything was excellent.
Thanks also for the advice.

I've been going to Cocconi for over 10 years, and it's my go-to place every time I return to Parma.
The products are always fresh and there's a wide selection! Having breakfast or a snack there makes you feel right at home!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but with new and innovative options. The service is always friendly and competent.
I'll be back as soon as I can, as always!!

I stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance while strolling through Parma's historic center, and I was captivated by the window display. It was truly inviting, and I wasn't wrong... I enjoyed an excellent coffee with a single portion of "Duchess" cake, and I purchased a panettone of excellent quality and a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and always smiling!
I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for a relaxing break or meeting friends. Special praise goes to Giovanni, always kind, smiling, and professional, capable of making you feel right at home. You can taste the true Parma pastry tradition with a touch of creativity.
Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy high-quality artisanal products in a place with real character! 🍰☕️

The staff, especially Giovanni, is always kind and smiling: it's a pleasure to have breakfast or a break in this little corner which, together with the very good Sacher, reminds me of the historic pastry shop in Vienna 😊
