20/05/2026: As a scout for the 2027 Alpine gathering (May 7-9), I was recommended this typical trattoria, near the center. For an affordable €14, all-inclusive meal (water, a quarter of wine, bread, and coffee), you'll find five first courses (macaroni with olives and eggplant; orecchiette with sausage, broccoli, and potatoes, among others), eight second courses, and four hearty side dishes. A rustic and well-prepared lunch. In the evenings and on weekends, menus are available for €18 and €25. Five stars for efficient and fast service, Brescian industriousness at its finest. I'd like to add a tip to the gentle Alpine men and women who don't have the privilege of living in this splendid city: don't wait for the gathering to see all the beauty it has to offer. March, don't rot. Then come here for refreshments, hoping to find the tripe, which I'm told is delicious.
29/03/2026: We ate there on a Saturday for lunch. Reservations are required because seating is limited. The room is very small, and it feels more like a bar.
I really enjoyed the radicchio and speck casoncelli. I would have had a second helping without the main course. 😂
It's a good business lunch. The food is good, and the service is super fast. 🎀
