10/08/2025: Unpretentious meat, fish, and pizza dishes. A wide selection of dishes for those with dietary restrictions, such as celiac disease. A good value. Ample space for families and birthday parties.
27/06/2025: Tipico posto per operai di giorno e per chi abbia voglia di farsi una pizzata la sera, quella volta ogni quel paio di due settimane. Locale certamente non bello ma pulito, personale cordiale, titolare attentissimo, servizio celere e cibo più che soddisfacente per la sua categoria di prezzo (a pranzo): 12 euro con dentro tutto, primo, secondo, contorno, coperto, acqua oppure vino. E 9 euro con solo il secondo e 7 euro con solo il primo. Riguardo il cibo, nota di merito per quel carpaccio di manzo, quel pollo al forno e quel gateau di patate. Buona anche l'insalata di pasta fredda. Risotto alla parmigiana, invece, un po' asciutto. Quando sarò da quelle parti ci ritornerò di nuovo, se sarà ancora estate mangerò pure in terrazza.

Osteria del Ponte

11/08/2025: My boyfriend, a couple of friends, and I went to Osteria del Ponte for a casual dinner on a Tuesday evening, and I can assure you, it was one of those evenings that makes you think, "Why don't we come here more often?" We started with a selection of appetizers that immediately made the place's philosophy clear: solid tradition, authentic flavor, and zero compromise on quality. The Milanese mondeghili were perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, flavorful yet balanced. The fried gnocco with prosciutto? Simply unsurpassed: fragrant, dry, and accompanied by a worthy prosciutto. But the real surprise was the zucchini flowers with anchovies: a flavorful and bold morsel that won everyone over from the first bite. Then we moved on to the main courses: I ordered the pork cheek, and here I feel like going out on a limb: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I shared it with my boyfriend, who had instead chosen the risotto with gorgonzola and figs: creamy, well-balanced, with that sweet touch that never tires. A unique dish, a real success. Our couple of friends chose more classic but equally well-executed dishes: risotto alla Milanese with marrow, intensely colored and very inviting (I didn't try it, but only because I was already in raptures with my cheek!), and his girlfriend chose the traditional gnocchi, which were a hit for their simplicity and deliciousness. We accompanied the dinner with a glass of white to start and then a truly pleasant bottle of red – the wine list is well-curated and offers something for all palates. A special mention goes to the waiter, impeccable: knowledgeable, smiling, attentive without being intrusive. He explained each dish to us with passion and great expertise. A true added value to the experience. Finally, desserts: two of them chose the tiramisu, which was deemed "very good" even by someone who—a small aside—owns a restaurant in Naples... and we know how strict they are over there when it comes to desserts! 😄 I instead had the apple tart with vanilla ice cream and citrus sauce: beautiful to look at, and truly delicious. Although I'm not particularly fond of citrus fruits paired with desserts, I must say that in this case, it was perfectly balanced and brought freshness to the dish. Conclusion? An osteria with soul. Attention to detail, bold yet elegant flavors, attentive service. A restaurant that manages to showcase Lombard cuisine with panache and personality. We'll definitely be back, perhaps on Saturday... although, apparently, Tuesday is already a great option.
