Choosing Vianda is a guarantee! We turned to the Vianda pastry shop to make the desserts and cake for the birth of our little one and we couldn't help but do the same for her first birthday. First of all, I would like to underline the availability and courtesy of the pastry chef, he immediately understood what my wishes were and, with immense skill, was then able to create a spectacular cake. I think the photo speaks for itself, truly beautiful. It should be noted that the fantastic aesthetics of his cakes, truly masterpieces, are second only to their taste. 04/05/2025: I ended up at Giò’s pub after walking around Scalia a bit trying to find something for dinner. In Italy, everything Seems to fall into two categories, street food or fine dining. As soon as you walk into Giò’s, you notice the casual atmosphere. Families and young people enjoying time together with burgers and food free of pretense. I had the jalapeño poppers and a burger that I almost couldn’t finish. The topper? Ice. I got a glass of ice for my Coke. Lol, as an Americano it’s the small things in Italy that matter. I really enjoyed the energy of the customers and the service kept up with a full house. Bravo!
19/01/2025: I give 5 stars because it is a truly unique place in the historic center of Scalea... the owner is very professional and friendly, having an intolerance they helped me with everything with total transparency... I highly recommend
