In questa pasticceria dove si respira un' atmosfera d' altri tempi, nacquero i meravigliosi cioccolatini tipici della città i famosi "Cuneesi al rum", qui in vendita anche sfusi a 1 euro l' uno, confezionati in un grazioso sacchettino che sembra anch' esso d' epoca. L' ambiente è davvero affascinante e ben conservato, prendersi del tempo per fare colazione qui è un' esperienza straniante, se non c' è tanta confusione (purtroppo raramente) ti senti catapultato indietro nel tempo. Peccato per il servizio, non sempre all' altezza: il personale è stressato.

Ci siamo andati per i cuneesi al rum, molto buoni, credo sia qui che sono nati. Ne abbiamo approfittato anche per gustare un’ottima meringa alla panna. Personale gentile, nonostante la folla di avventori. Prezzi in linea con la storia e la reputazione. Ambiente storico.

02/01/2026: The restaurant is no longer what it appears in the exterior photos, with its outdoor tables and green signs. It's essentially the former "Donna Selvaggia" restaurant beneath the "Il Borgo Vecchio" inn. Gone are the moderately priced menus that attracted us there. The view is undoubtedly beautiful, but unfortunately the value isn't great... the quality of the dishes is good but not stellar (the cold appetizer is "gelato"), and the prices are too high. The service is good and courteous.
26/12/2025: Overall, it's nice. Curious about the outdoor seating, I dined there that evening and stayed inside. The food was good. Service was good, the atmosphere excellent. Perfect value for money.
