got delicious €7 pici pesto pasta, i went midday on a weekday and i ordered with three friends and the wait took a little (25 min aprox). if we had had more time it wouldn’t been great, but i thoroughly recommend this spot for multiple affordable pasta plates or take out. seating is limited, best for a couple of people! overall amazing, will be going back.

Super delicious pasta. You can choose your own pasta type and sauce. The portions and the price are unbeatable. I've rarely eaten such good pasta. The owner is super friendly. Highly recommended.

Relais Le Macine di Stigliano

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

10/08/2025: unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food, we arrived after a day of traveling and ate everything like hungry dogs. but the food was really delicious and the desserts were completely out of this world. the restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay extra for quality if you get adequate service. I highly recommend visiting for a romantic dinner.
09/08/2025: Fine dining at its best. It was an absolute highlight of our vacation; fantastic food. Excellent wine with a very good selection. Extremely friendly staff. A highlight for us in the San Gimignano area.
