The pasta was generous, very generous in quantity, and very good! Excellent value for money, and the owner was honest and friendly. We had a great time! Highly recommended.

We spent a fantastic Sunday, together with friends and the staff of the place who were cheerful, professional and helpful, the dishes are made with excellent and very fresh raw materials, I ate a wholemeal pasta with crunchy vegetables.. very good fish... but the desserts, what can I say about the desserts, one of us had seconds.. generous portions is an understatement.. Congratulations indeed 💪🍀🎉

Unexpected but delicious Discovered thanks to Google reviews - it's located on a side street in Cogoleto. The best pasta alla norma I've ever eaten. A simple but well-kept place. Generous portions (thank you) - it reminds you of what it was like to go to a restaurant in the old days. No frills, good and plentiful food. Thanks for the surprise. The house white wine is also excellent.

We had lunch at this lovely restaurant, with very kind and helpful staff. We started with an appetizer of fish carpaccio, which was delicious, and finished with trofie with pesto, which we requested without potatoes and green beans (the best pesto pasta I've ever eaten). All the pasta served is handmade, and the portions are generous. Congratulations! Highly recommended if you want to eat something traditional and in good company!

Trattoria Archivolto Mongiardino

14/02/2026: Typical Genoese old trattoria. Trofie with pesto and filled anchovies were excellent. But I read in the menu some plates with cream that's never used in Genoese cuisine! Very strange indeed. Fast service and very nice location in the heart of old town
01/02/2026: When I hear that a restaurant should make us feel at home, I'm always a little perplexed. I've often wondered what a restaurateur really needs to do to achieve this feat. Today I was at this wonderful restaurant for lunch, and without artifice, they gave me the answer. I realized that feeling at home isn't a matter of decor or a constructed atmosphere, but of sincere attention, the natural gestures of food made with love, and noble simplicity. Special mention to Zenamisú, a dessert that transforms a Genoese breakfast into a sublime version of tiramisu. Thank you for this memorable lunch!!!!!!
