Great experience! Excellent value for money. Quality food at a perfect price. Relaxed restaurant atmosphere, not a tourist trap. You can tell it's a place with a commitment to quality. We highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10.

My guests made a great impression! Giacomo, Camilla, and the entire staff made our lunch special, featuring quality ingredients, impeccable plating, attention to detail, and a charming atmosphere in the internal garden. Everything was absolutely impeccable!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and truly authentic, but what really made the difference was the service. We were served by a Romanian gentleman who was extremely kind and hospitable — it’s rare to meet someone so respectful and attentive these days. In the past, I’ve had less pleasant experiences with local Italian waiters, but this time everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place! 👌🍝🇮🇹

endroit tranquille à 2 pas du Vatican. Repas délicieux et surprenant avec des ingrédients simples. Bravo ! Prix plus que corrects pour Rome. Personnel prévenant et souriant. A ne pas manquer en visitant le Vatican. Je recommande les ravioles ricotta lemon (quantité suffisante et rassasiante et goût subtil et exquis. Belle association !) Vrai goût de tomates sucrées et parfumées. Top!

The King dell'Arrosticino

01/12/2025: The arrosticini are good, but nothing exceptional compared to other typical restaurants.
30/11/2025: We visited this restaurant, rightly known for its meat and Abruzzo arrosticini, but we opted to try the wood-fired pizza. The pizza was good, but not exceptional or memorable (I'd say a solid 6.5/7 out of 10). If you're looking for the culinary experience for which this restaurant is famous, perhaps the best option is to stick with the meat menu. The absolute highlight is the wait staff: attentive, prompt, and very courteous. Despite the crowds, the service was impeccable and fast. The restaurant is very large, which is a plus for accommodating large groups, but it also makes the atmosphere a bit disjointed. The only serious negative: the restrooms. I found them dated and poorly maintained. A renovation and greater attention to cleanliness would significantly improve the overall experience, which was otherwise positive.

27/11/2025: A must-do in Maccarese when you're returning to or visiting Fregene. The world's most smiling couple. I feel at home at Zio Mauro's, they never disappoint. A magical place, simple and authentic dishes cooked with heart and tradition. Any excuse is a good one to stop by and try their dishes and their new creations. A special welcome from Mauro, Marcella, Cinzia, Ursula, and Rosi. *You have to go there, otherwise you'll only enjoy half of it.
