The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. While it's unclear whether the food was the best in Italy, it was as good as you'd expect from Italy, and considering how much the staff's friendliness influences the food's taste, I think it deserves a high rating.

I was at this place near the Vatican a few days ago, where I found excellent service and a menu that wasn't banal, but rather creative and very tasty, with a variety of delicious flavors. I ate really well :) Sincere compliments. PS: I recommend visiting the beautiful internal terrace, and if the weather permits, eating there.

While staying at the property, we decided to have lunch at their restaurant, and I have to say it was a great choice! The traditional appetizers and first courses were expertly prepared, and the staff was truly friendly and helpful.

We had dinner here during our stay in Rome, it was excellent. The dishes were well-prepared and the ingredients were high-quality. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. The fettuccine "Alfredo" was sublime. The tiramisu was exceptional. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

Artishocks weren't freshly cooked, fried cheese balls isn't tasty at all with some cheap cheese inside. Pizza was the best out of three dishes, but also very average. For this price category could be way better. Service was great.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere even better. Despite the number of people, it wasn't noisy. I also liked the decor. The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, communication in English was a little difficult at first, but everything worked out in the end.

I booked through The Fork and had a 20 percent discount, but it wasn't clear how it was applied. They should be clearer about this, as it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to check; the total and discounted amounts should be clearly shown on the receipt. The restaurant is nice and the food is good... I really enjoyed the focaccia. The portions are small, but they leave you satisfied. The waitress was very attentive.

13/10/2025: A true institution for those who know Tolfa. I was lucky enough to see Adriana at work, and certain images are unforgettable: she would place the pan in the wood-fired oven, then, halfway through cooking, she would take it out with a confident gesture and place it on the counter. Then, with her plate piled high with mozzarella, she would top it with her unmistakable gesture. A gesture that has remained in the hearts of those lucky enough to watch her work. Today, the baton has been passed to Rosella and Raffaella, who continue to carry on this beautiful tradition with love and simplicity. The shop is still there, on the Tolfa avenue, tiny, but rich in history and flavor. The pizza? Just one, as always: mozzarella. It's not thin, it's not thick: it's unique. Every 10-15 minutes, a steaming pan comes out. Watch your taste buds! It's piping hot... and impossible to wait. For those who go there today, it's a corner of the true Tolfa, still intact. You have to try it at least once in your life. But trust me: it will be the first of many.
