Excellent traditional dishes, cooked with care and skill! Good value for money. The basement dining room is a bit too dark.

We were led to seatings in the basement and it seemed all the tables there were foreigners. It was the most expensive meal among all during our one week stay in Florence and the only one that charged us service fee(5adults + 1 kid). Food was ok but nothing worth recommending

The best restaurant weve ever found in Florence, so good we went back twice. If it seems touristy, just accept it, thr experience is extremely approachable and still authentic. Exceptional food. Great atmosphere. Try the steak, pastas, and desserts. $130-$200 for 3 of us.

A lovely restaurant with friendly service. The ambiance is also very inviting. Unfortunately, the food was cold, and there was only one restroom for men and women, not even a urinal – that's pathetic for such an expensive establishment. Therefore, I'm only giving it 4 stars.

Very good quality. Everything I have tried was delicious. If you are looking for traditional Tuscan food, well you can't go wrong. The wild boar with polenta was amazing. Great wine list too. :)

16/11/2025: We celebrated a wonderful birthday with food and wine that were spectacular, both on the palate and the eye. Superlative service from the lovely Angela. You can sense her passion for customer service. The price was in line with a restaurant of this caliber.

The restaurant has an authentic, simple, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those seeking traditional cuisine without frills but prepared with care. The dishes are the real highlight: generous portions, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors reminiscent of home cooking. The Florentine steak is impeccably cooked, while the pasta dishes—especially the butter and sage ravioli—are absolutely worth a try. Even the desserts are authentic and taste just right. The service is friendly and fast, despite the restaurant often being busy. The prices are fair and commensurate with the quality and size of the portions. In short: Da Padellina is a restaurant that focuses on tradition and substance, and does so very well. Recommended for those who want to eat well and feel at home.
