Kind and friendly staff, delicious lemonades and excellent snacks

A new experience, even for us, a bit bummer. Comfortable atmosphere for a quick, light lunch while visiting Reggio's historic sites. The salad was well-stocked but lacking in vinaigrette dressing. The bruschetta bread and excellent umus were appreciated. Fast and friendly service. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Good price.

We went to this lovely restaurant in Reggio today, and we had an amazing pancake! We'll be back to try other items from the inviting menu. The staff was friendly.

Located in the historic center, behind Piazza Prampolini, Papparè offers a wide selection of its unique offerings starting in the morning. The space is air-conditioned and well-furnished. Weather permitting, the terrace overlooking Piazza Casotti is also available.

Pappare' in Reggio Emilia is not bad, a good establishment that we tried last Sunday as part of our afternoon tour 🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️ of the city. We arrived there around 3:00 pm 🕒 after discovering it online 📱 (we were looking for a place to eat something), we went in and took a seat at a table on the right next to the window 🪟. Even though the restaurant service was understandably not operational, taking a look 👀 at the counter we still identified some valid alternatives, which we opted for, namely a focaccia with zucchini/speck/spread cheese, a slice of Margherita pizza 🍕 and two savory brioches 🥐 (one with ham/Edam and the other with salmon/spread cheese). To complete the order, we also received two small bottles of sparkling water 💧 and, to finish the meal, a slice of chocolate cake, a red velvet muffin with white chocolate cream filling, and a couple of 300 ml matcha 🍵. Everything was undoubtedly very good 😋 and served promptly by the kind staff 🧑🏽🧑🏾. Prices were perhaps a little above average given the €44.40 💶 bill, paid at the cashier by card 💳 (I must admit that the salmon croissant, priced at €7, left us quite perplexed). The theming of the place is nice, characterised by a simple style and vaguely "urban" touches. The bathrooms 🚾 are also noteworthy, not only for their cleanliness 🚽🧻🧴, but also for their originality: the water pans 💦 were made from recycled materials (cast iron, if I'm not mistaken, for the women's one 🚺 and wood for the men's one 🚹), giving these spaces a charming and captivating look. Furthermore, on the wall of the men's one 🚹, you can read a message written in marker 🖍: "LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF: I am the water tank, they gave me a second life after a careful restoration, I'm still an old lady... I ONLY WORK WHEN I'M FULL. You must pull the rod and release it immediately. TREAT ME WITH CARE 🖤." The location is strategic, opposite the Museo del Tricolore 🇮🇹, a very interesting structure that we then visited with great satisfaction.
