Pappa e Ciccia In Firenze

I returned to them after not going for about a year. They renovated the place. Now there is a room with tables, a new counter and a display of products such as pasta and first courses and side dishes that wasn't there before. The girls are still phenomenal as always but the environment has lost that authenticity it had before as a neighborhood "shop". Now it resembles one of the many more modern foods. Unfortunately, the tortilla with oil is now very thin and not as crunchy as it used to be. Prices have increased significantly (like everywhere else). €9 for a slice of stuffing and a triangle of cooked flatbread seems like a lot to me, especially considering the neighborhood. They have certainly expanded the product offering but I was fond of those "few but good" ones from a few years ago. However, I will still go back to the girls as soon as I can.

The food is good, the girls are good and friendly, the place is clean, the prices are fair What more do you want?

Overall, good pizza, good squash without expecting too much, low prices, the environment should be cared for a little more

Pizza all'Isolotto? da Pappa e Ciccia ci si diverte perché l'atmosfera è piacevolmente popolare e si possono assaggiare un sacco di leccornie o comprare del buon pane. La pizza è ottima, di gran lunga superiore a qualunque altro pizzaiolo al taglio, digeribilissima e condita con ingredienti di alta qualità. Stesso discorso per la superba schiacciata, croccante e unta come deve essere e farcita con salumi di ottimo livello. A seconda dei giorni, poi, si possono degustare lasagne o calzoni con il lampredotto, porchetta deliziosa, sformatini, biscotti, arancine... non ci si annoia mai, insomma. Posto piccolo, ma accogliente, con prezzi superonesti, simpatia e cortesia. Ottimo per la pausa pranzo o per l'asporto, soprattutto a pranzo.

I have continued to enjoy their delicacies for years now, they make you feel at home and with the room they have added they have probably made a further leap in quality. As for the food, it's all really delicious and at fair prices, it's now my point of reference.

Only one problem... everything is really too good and you eat too much!!! :-)))

I've been living in Florence for two years and I still hadn't tasted the famous lampredotto sandwich, what better place to enjoy it than at Pappa e Ciccia, I still feel like I'm in heaven... Thank you Thank you thank you to Simona and Sara who never stop pampering me with their delicacies.
