The pizza is good and the paposcia is frighteningly good! Also worth trying is the carefully prepared traditional cuisine! The only flaw is a waiter who, whether he is there or there, tends to skip orders and lets the latest arrivals move forward...

Buon pit stop per chi arriva sul Gargano. Sulla veranda di fronte al mare abbiamo gustato una buona impepata di cozze, spaghetti con le vongole e una discreta frittura. Personale gentile e servizio veloce, bene così

Paposcia Re is undoubtedly the best place to dine in San Menaio. From the starters, I strongly recommend the raw and cooked seafood starter, to the legendary Tommasino cassata, excellence of the Gargano, exquisite and exceptional food. The big flaw is the service, in particular the head waiter is a sharp and rude person, there is a general lack of attention to the customer, to get water we waited for him to take orders from tables that had even arrived after us. The manager still accepts reservations without counting the tables, he doesn't seem to understand that people go there in the summer and you can't stay crowded together, however the waitress (a very young and polite girl) was very kind and empathetic. Look who manages the reservations and takes the orders!

First of all I want to highlight the review of this esteemed gentleman, (not to say much else) "Giorgio Gallo: I don't recommend it, from the staff to the food the only good thing is the air, in fact the place smelled, dirty, the food was terrible, zero welcome, unprofessional, high prices for what it offers." This is the review of this gentleman, I can't understand why he wrote this real disgrace about the place and the managers, he certainly had his reasons which were certainly not consistent with the place, however I don't intend to dwell on this esteemed one..... .... I know the restaurant very well and the managers (the Rucci family) are easy-going people, hard workers and entrepreneurs, the restaurant is five star, I highly recommend you go there, you will personally see the truth.
