We came in without any expectations, but I have to say we were very pleased with the staff's hospitality and especially with the lunch: baked pasta, swordfish rolls, meatballs, octopus salad, and stuffed eggplant. Everything was delicious 😋 You could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Then we tried the semifreddos and ice creams... top! I highly recommend them.

We ate there twice for lunch, hot food service, everything was very good from the first courses to the various second courses, even the bar with ice cream, granitas, brioche. I would like to point out that the staff really knows how to treat guests unlike many other places on the island.
Well done to the two guys outside for table service, affable, kind, attentive to everything and also to the girls inside. I recommend everyone to come to the beach in Canneto and stop here. REALLY WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF KEEP IT UP

We had lunch during the week at this place, which in addition to having first courses displayed at the counter, also has a hot food section, ice cream and pastries. We took two ready-made second courses (swordfish rolls and stuffed squid with two side dishes, baked potatoes and caponatina). To drink a coke coke and at the end a small semifreddo and two espresso coffees. To order you have to go to the counter, then only then does the table service take over. In terms of taste, nothing special, discrete, the caponatina deserves an honorable mention because it is very good, but exaggerated prices for the quality of the food eaten. 55 euros total.

During this week of vacation I tried six places between Tropea and the Aeolian Islands and Papisca is the one that left me with the best sensations.
High quality raw materials that make the difference even compared to sophisticated preparations.

There are no words to describe the goodness of the arancina...and many other dishes of typical Sicilian cuisine. The ice creams are also excellent. Not to be missed!
