Very good restaurant with typical products from the Aosta Valley, vegetables from the garden, a beautiful terrace, impeccable service

We only went to the restaurant, not to the hotel. The restaurant is a few minutes drive from Aosta. Genuine food, of very good quality. You can find excellent dishes of the Aosta Valley and Piedmont tradition, from appetizers to desserts. The Valpellinentze soup is exquisite, one of the best you can find in the Aosta Valley! The wines are also good. Fair prices, excellent value for money. Truly a trattoria where it is pleasant to stay, the environment is very welcoming. Furthermore, very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Lunch on 06/05/2025 A short distance from Aosta is this bar-trattoria that, without claiming to offer sophisticated dishes, satisfies the nostalgic spirit (for those, like me, who appreciate rustic 80s-style places) and the stomach with traditional and substantial cuisine at reasonable prices. The appetizers were good (but I prefer the Russian salad to be crispier) and the tagliatelle with mushrooms, al dente and generously seasoned, while the Valpellinese soup was a pleasant discovery, never tasted before, rich and tasty. Bread (with walnuts) and breadsticks above average. Quick and courteous staff. Overall, the bill was adequate. Rating: 8

Pranzo del 06/05/2025 A poca distanza da Aosta si trova questo bar trattoria che, senza la pretesa di proporre piatti sofisticati, appaga lo spirito nostalgico (per chi, come me, apprezza i locali rustici in stile anni ‘80) e lo stomaco con una cucina tradizionale e di sostanza a prezzi ragionevoli. Buoni gli antipasti (ma l’insalata russa la preferisco più croccante) e le tagliatelle ai funghi, al dente e abbondantemente condite, mentre è stata una piacevole scoperta la zuppa valpellinese, mai assaggiata prima, ricca e gustosa. Pane (alle noci) e grissini oltre la media. Personale rapido e cortese. Conto tutto sommato adeguato. Voto: 8
