Paoli In Firenze

This place was recommended on the tour, so I visited on the same day, which was different from the plan! I ordered truffle carbonara and the truffle steak that was recommended because the veal I originally ordered was sold out on the day. Both were delicious, except for the fact that it was a bit salty for Korean palates, which is typical of Italian food! After I finished eating, they gave me a tiramisu cake for free, which I enjoyed. The AMMAR staff, who took good care of me throughout my meal, were also very friendly and helpful. It was expensive, but I think they give a lot of discounts if you make a reservation through the app!! I think it's worth a visit.

Ammar was absolutely fantastic. He was prompt and courteous, and the food perfect. The Florentine chainina steak was cooked to perfection, and wonderfully seasoned. The tiramisu was out of this world. I highly recommend coming. The atmosphere is inviting.

A unique place, a must-see in Florence. We ate delicious dishes: tortelli, pasta e fagioli, tagliata, and steak. Everything was excellent. Ammar, the waiter who served us, was polite and super professional. I recommend it 100%!

We did not have a reservation and arrived at Paoli Antico Ristorante 1827 around 9pm on a Friday night. The wait was about 15 minutes, which was very reasonable. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out, and from the greeting of the hostess to our servers, the customer service was outstanding. We ordered the petite filetto medium rare with brown gravy and black truffles. The filet was cooked perfectly but could have used much more seasoning. While dining, we noticed several other guests who ordered the steak Fiorentina (T-bone) adding a generous amount of salt as well. The carbonara with truffles had an excellent flavor but was lacking in bacon, there were only a few small bites, so the menu would be more accurate if it read “sprinkled with bacon.” Overall, the service and atmosphere far outshined the food.
