We were a group of five, and the place was cozy and charming. Service was polite but slow, even though there were only three tables when we arrived. I had the "Nemo" sandwich, which was very good but not particularly large. The menu was varied and, most importantly, had a wide range of options for vegans, vegetarians, and celiacs.

Update 20.01.26: Today, I eagerly ordered bruschetta with foie gras (14 euros). What did I get? Four slices of toasted baguette without foie gras... there wasn't even 2 grams on all four slices... but plenty of sweet gelatin jam. That's not acceptable. It's a rip-off. I eat foie gras quite often, whether in Paris or elsewhere... I know the prices... nowhere else have I ever been served almost NOTHING. I then scraped everything off three slices of bread to put it on one of the slices of baguette so that at least a hint of foie gras was visible! This dish had a value of less than 1 euro... right? I told the friendly employee that... but he probably thought, "Whatever, we'll never see them again." Times are challenging for everyone. Not just for Sicilians. That's why it's short-sighted to take advantage of people from all over the world who are here temporarily or for longer periods of time. ☆☆☆ A very nice discovery. I've often strolled along here and today I wanted to give it a try. There is more than bread, the name suggests a limitation here. My Greek salad was ok, the sheep's cheese in it was very good. If there had been a real menu to touch, I would probably have ordered and tried one or two other things. Having to select dishes using a QV code: absolutely inelegant and counterproductive. I have quite a few friends who avoid such restaurants as a matter of principle. I can understand that very well. I feel the same way: I want to savour what's on offer, not scroll through it on my smartphone! There are, important plus point: several open wines! Unfortunately, the water comes in plastic bottles (so more dead than alive), but at least the water glass is made of glass (a rarity in Palermo, where people drink from plastic pee cups all the time). As beautiful as this city is, as friendly and welcoming as the people are, the mass preference for plastic (and its disposal on the pavements and in every flowerpot) is so disdainful and polluting.

I've been coming here for over ten years and always leave enthusiastic and satisfied. The food is top-notch, and every pairing is thoughtful. The staff is attentive and friendly.

If you're looking for a place to grab sandwiches, but also something more, with super-fresh, quality food, you're in the right place. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is a delight.

I've been coming here for five years, and every time it's a confirmation. I always order the "Sestriere" sandwich, and it's never disappointed: the quality has remained the same since the first time I tried it, always top-notch. The sandwiches are well-seasoned, rich but never heavy, and you can really taste the care they take in making them. A place that never fails, and has become a trusted source for me. Highly recommended!
