The raviolis and the spada were delicious! This restaurant deserves a way higher grade :) The shrimp raviolis were tender with the perfect balance of taste between herbs, pastas and taste of sea and the spada was soft with the perfect combination of oil and lemon. Would come back with pleasure!

Siamo andati al ristorante tramite The Fork. Si trova nei vicoli di Genova. Menù basico. Accoglienza abbastanza fredda. Piatti normali nulla di eccezionale. Mi aspettavo di più essendo "la storia di Genova". Locale molto retrò.

We went to the restaurant via The Fork. It is located in the alleys of Genoa. Basic menu. Fairly cold welcome. Normal dishes nothing exceptional. I expected more being "the history of Genoa". Very retro place.

Everything fresh, traditional and homemade. A breath of fresh air between all the pizzas and hamburger joints. And Ilja Pfeiffer knew that too.

Very good stay, the hotel is 5 minutes from Place Ferrari. The room is very clean contrary to some comments, rustic/traditional style which is exotic. The owner is friendly, he took the time to explain how it works. The windows overlook a lively square which means there is some noise late at night, however we quickly fall asleep in the very comfortable bed. And all this for an affordable price I was pleasantly surprised, I would not hesitate to book again during a future stay

Pranzato in questo ristorante storico in centro a Genova: ambiente informale, cibo tipico ben cucinato, staff professionale. Gustato dello spada affumicato con rucola quale antipasto (buono) ed i pansotti ripieni di verdure con salsa di noci quale portata principale… squisiti. Molto buona anche la zuppa inglese fatta in casa. Unico neo la lunga attesa (quasi mezz’ora) per ordinare… poi i piatti sono arrivati velocemente. Costo: 27 euro a testa con sconto The Fork del 20%… onesto. Ps: il titolare dovrebbe fare un corso di empatia.

Why 5 stars because we were looking for a typical Genoese restaurant and here you will have inexpensive, typical Genoese dishes, period! The thing the waiter says you'll rather have this or that because we only use fresh things! Pleasure

28/07/2024: We stayed in this town and ordered pizza from this place to take home. Very tasty pizza, thin dough with fluffy edges, you can choose what kind of flour you use. I really loved whole wheat dough. The filling is very tasty and generous. There were no photos left, they ate everything faster than they remembered the photos. We took it several times and liked all the options that we ordered. There were no problems with delivery, the young man was friendly and followed the instructions.
