Amazing restaurant, service with a great view 🤩

A typical Italian restaurant with traditional dishes and excellent service. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and explained the dishes perfectly. The house white wine was also excellent. We will return. And the desserts are all homemade :-)

Sapendo della storicità di questo locale, mi aspettavo di vederne le tracce anche all'interno. Invece l'ho trovato molto anonimo e asettico. Il menù è tipico genovese. Ho ordinato trofie al pesto e calamari fritti con patatine. Buono e gustoso il primo, non male i calamari, sulle patate invece ho qualche riserva. Erano rinsecchite oltre ad essere di taglia extrasmall. Piacevole invece la meringata con cioccolato caldo. Servizio cortese ma decisamente lento, nonostante non ci fosse il pienone. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo con la promozione The Fork.

Optimal! Really good great experience

I went to the restaurant that I have known for years but had never tried, thinking, given the privileged location, that it was very expensive. The fish is very fresh and freshly cooked. The service was friendly and very attentive. Prices are more than honest (25 euros per person).

This is a restaurant where you eat very well, with traditional Ligurian dishes and fresh products. The fish-based first and second courses are excellent. The location has a very simple and familiar style without too many frills. The waitresses are very kind and helpful. The only negative note, which I am sorry to point out, is the typically Ligurian welcome from the owner. Booked at 8pm for a dinner and arrived early at 7.30pm, I was kindly invited to the door to come back on time, for unspecified reasons which, even now, I still don't understand. In the restaurant, at that moment, all the tables were free. This is the first time this has happened to me and I was honestly surprised. However, I recommend it, as long as you respect the booking time to the minute.

Ci torno sempre volentieri, il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero buono. Cibo fresco e di qualità, pesce compreso. Si va sul sicuro in ogni portata: primi, secondi, dolci (meringa con cioccolato super). Poi tavoli apparecchiati in maniera tradizionale. L'ambiente è il punto debole, un pó retrò, ma sopperiscono abbondantemente la cortesia, il servizio, insieme alla qualità del cibo

Typical cuisine restaurant in the center of Genoa, well-executed dishes and generous portions. The waitress was very kind, she alone had to manage a fair number of customers and the kitchen is not exactly close. If we want to find a discordant note, let's say that the owner is not very nice.
