Even though I've changed neighborhood, once a week I go back to Via Tagliamento to stock up on my favorite breads, first and foremost the Pane d'Oro.

Excellent bakery located in a strategic position in the heart of the Trieste district. I have been lucky enough to know it since high school, and since then it has always been a fixed point for quality and courtesy. The staff is extremely kind and qualified, always ready with a smile. But the real star is the food: top-quality baked goods, with an honorable mention for the pizzas (in my opinion, the best in all of Rome), inimitable. Thanks to the fact that I work and live nearby, I often go back ... and every time it is a confirmation. I really recommend it to everyone: whoever comes in once, comes back forever.

Food was really good but a little bit dry the pizza with mushrooms. Although the service was amazing for a store we had our pizza directly to the table. Atmosphere was a normal store with bread but the fact inaccettabile is that there are two big trash cans near the store. But all the rest highly recommended! 👍🏻

I went to this bakery on a Saturday morning. The staff was very welcoming and I even exchanged a few words with the very kind cashier. I got a very good loaf of bread with olives so I was very satisfied.

21/11/2025: We've been eating here several times now. Decent service, delicious fried food, and truly delicious pizza! Really reasonable prices. The quality of the food is quite high, both the pizza and the fish and meat. The place isn't huge, so reservations are essential. In the summer, there are outdoor tables. Ample parking.

14/12/2025: It all started out well... until it all went south. We ordered two aperitivo options with drinks and a portion of nachos. The nachos were good, the guacamole topped with what we think was sour cream to dilute the avocado, or perhaps a stylistic choice, I don't know. The pinsa was good. DO NOT GET THE CICCHETTI APERITIF; the cheese had strong Roman overtones—Roman, that is, rubbish—a toasted slice of toast topped with pumpkin cream, and something with an ambiguous consistency: a tiny arancini filled with just rice, a pea, and maybe half an olive, and a piece of polenta that was good. The drinks seemed non-alcoholic and watered down. We asked for a refill, which was kindly granted, but I still have doubts about whether or not that drink contained alcohol.
