Panino Sistino In

Delicious sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies. Great spot after a long day at Vatican, Sistine chapel and basilica. We ate inside but a few tables outside also.

Small cozy place with yummy food and swing music!

The place is ideal for a lunch or snack break after visiting the Vatican Museum. Small place (air-conditioned which is ideal in the middle of a heatwave), you can eat here salads, sandwiches (genericly called panini in Italy), carpaccio, fresh fruit, tiramisu or simply have a coffee. We chose a panini, a tomato mozzarella salad, another with salmon and to finish a fruit salad. A delight !

Found this place while looking for a quick and light meal before visiting the Vatican. It is just a few meters from the entrance to the Vatican Museums. With several light and simple meals, such as sandwiches and salads. We opted for Piadina. The ingredients were all very fresh. The service was very good and the employee was very helpful and friendly. We chose to stay on the terrace. The only less positive point is the shaking of the tables on the inclined street 🤭 I recommend.

There are definitely worse sandwiches in the area. Great spot to get a freshly made panino when you find out your Vatican museum reservation is actually 20 minutes from the time they told you. Fair prices; didn’t feel overly touristy

We needed a quick bite to eat before heading into the Vatican. They were quick, easy, well priced and very accommodating. We had multiple orders and they were very efficient. There were lots of choices. The food tasted amazing and held us off before dinner.
