Yes, the food is good, the location is top notch, but the service is disappointing, sometimes rude. Prices are rising significantly over time compared to what they used to be. It now costs 40 euros to eat two sandwiches and a Coke.

We went looking for Scillichenti's famous pane cunzato. Excellent semolina bread. The products (meat, vegetables, cheese) were of excellent quality. The prices were more than fair: there were 7...6 of us. Five panini cunzato with meat and various toppings, two with chips and a sausage, water and a large Coke, total €64. Cover charge included.

Cibo di buona qualità, ma le polpette di carne erano carbonizzate e poco salutari. Il servizio al tavolo cortese, ma commetteva diversi errori nell'ordinazione. Prezzo: medio-alto, rispetto alla location, al servizio ed alla cottura di alcune delle pietanze.

The food was good, but the meatballs were charred and unhealthy. The table service was courteous, but there were several errors in the ordering. Price: medium-high, considering the location, the service, and the cooking of some of the dishes.

As they say in Catania, "WE'RE OVERWHELMED"!!!!! We discovered this place in the midst of COVID, and a few days ago, Facebook reminded us of this lunch at Panino Beach, so we decided to try it for dinner after several years: everything was excellent, from the food to the service. Plus, on Wednesdays, unbeknownst to us, they organize live music, which pleasantly complemented our evening with songs dedicated to Baglioni/Morandi. It's hard to find places like this in seaside villages full of seafood restaurants with sky-high prices. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Delicious sandwiches, quality meat

Sandwich shop located in a seaside suburb in the municipality of Acireale. The restaurant overlooks the small beach of Stazzo, the food is truly exquisite and the service is no less... highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent meat and spend a pleasant evening.

La scortesia altre volte riscontrata, ha raggiunto il culmine! Alla mia richiesta di rimuovere, durante il pranzo, la fastidiosa (nonché antiestetica e antigenica) plastica trasparente ultimamente posta sopra la tovaglia, la titolare del locale, con fare più che arrogante, risponde: "la plastica non si può togliere, perché mi sporcate la tovaglia e io non posso spendere di nuovo 1000 euro di lavanderia"! Se non sbaglio, il costo del coperto (2€) include anche il tovagliato e la pulizia dello stesso. Il mestiere del ristoratore, del quale la qualità del cibo non è l'unico elemento, richiede competenza, dedizione e ... savoir faire.
