Jerry is super friendly. He's always ready to offer advice on pairing the many ingredients for his excellent sandwiches. He loves his job and does it with passion. The entire staff is fast and coordinated. The beer is ice cold, just the way I like it.

I've been coming to Puglia for vacation for three years, specifically to Taranto. I discovered Jerry's thanks to a friend from Puglia, and ever since I first went, it's been a regular stop. The sandwiches are excellent, large and full of ingredients, all top-quality; I've never had a sandwich like this. Coming from the north, the prices are ridiculous for the quality. If we were in the north, a sandwich like this would cost €15, but at Jerry's, for €3.50-€5.00, you get a sandwich with balls. Highly recommended, and I wish this wonderful sandwich shop all the best.

Jerry is just Jerry. A Taranto institution. You either love it or go elsewhere. Jerry's sandwich is the bomb. Period. You absolutely have to try this experience. Choose the type of bread, choose the ingredients, and whether you want it toasted or not. You can take it away or eat it there, along with a good beer. (The famous "With or without breadcrumbs" can only be served with it; when Jerry was born, you weren't even on the calendar.) A huge Taranto native and fan of our beloved Taranto (so many games watched from the Curva Nord), Jerry is a surefire way to stay on top of something delicious. I go at least once a week because I need to stay in shape; swimsuit season is coming up soon!

Great food, very good value, as a non-Italian the atmosphere is very stereotypical of an old school Italian deli (in a fantastic way)

Jerry, a decade-old business, is famous for its huge sandwiches filled with quality ingredients and, above all, generous servings. Located just outside the old town, near the station and port. It's a hub for many businesses and more. Definitely worth trying at least once for anyone who wants to sample and enjoy typical Apulian products.
