24/04/2026: Drawn in by glowing reviews, we had high hopes for this place — and in some ways, it delivered. The setting is genuinely breathtaking, with spectacular views and plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the natural surroundings. On a sunny day, sitting outside here is hard to beat. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end for us. The room was disappointingly small, and the double bed consisted of two separate mattresses with no top cover — a simple detail that made for a surprisingly poor night's sleep. We'd recommend clarifying bedding arrangements before booking if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom was, frankly, a shock. For such a charming, atmospheric property, the standard here feels completely out of place. The space is tiny — borderline claustrophobic — and the shower is barely functional. Turning around requires real effort, the fixtures are worn and tired, and the water temperature offers only two settings: scalding or freezing. There's no middle ground. It's also worth noting that the property is not accessible for guests with mobility difficulties, which isn't mentioned clearly enough upfront. The access road is another thing to be prepared for — a roughly 10-minute drive along an unpaved gravel track from the main road. Breakfast was average, nothing to write home about. A beautiful location let down by poor room quality and a bathroom that urgently needs attention. With some investment in the basics, this could be a gem.

30/03/2026: A simply wonderful place nestled in the Tuscan countryside, easily reached by following the signs on a well-traveled dirt road. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was top-notch. I hope to return in the future. Thank you so much.
