As soon as we landed in Palermo, the first snack before starting the visits, this bakery welcomes us with a 'pane cunsato' and a parcel that has completely satisfied us and put us back into the world. A bread I've never eaten before and yes I'm a few years old...

A non-touristy place, in fact you eat very good products and spend much less than at the various markets. Congratulations indeed, recommended to those who want to eat local products made by God.

Wonderful sandwich and sfincione, worth trying.

Three years ago at night, I was wandering the streets in distress because I couldn't print my early morning flight ticket. That was when the owner of this bakery kindly helped me. When I tried to pay as a token of my gratitude, he refused. The sfincione I bought at that time was large, affordable, and incredibly delicious. When I looked it up later, I found out that this bakery has been loved by the locals for many years. I'm truly glad I had the chance to enjoy their sfincione in Palermo. I am still grateful for their kindness to this day. I will definitely come again! One night three years ago, I was wandering around the city at a loss because I couldn't print tickets for an early morning flight, and the owner of this shop kindly helped me out. Found by chance during our first holiday in Palermo three years ago, we returned to the Pensabene bakery in the hope of finding the good food from the first time and I must say that we were not disappointed! It's all very good and genuine, but the caponata and stuffed peppers deserve a special mention for their delicacy! Furthermore, the owner is a friendly and kind guy, who welcomes you with education and courtesy, which is not a given in Palermo! 10 is praise!

Prima di tornare nel brumoso nord, abbiamo fatto scorta di bontà. Forno, rosticceria, salumeria, alimentari... C'è di tutto, ma la loro produzione è stratosferica. Una delle particolarità è che a diverse ore del giorno, trovi i prodotti che ti mangeresti in quel momento, a ogni ora una sorpresa.
