I'll start by saying it was mid-August. The service was very quick, the food was average, and there was nothing to make me want to return, especially the bill. It was excessive for the quality and quantity of the dishes.

A typical August Sunday in Lessinia: half of Verona had gone up to the mountains to escape the heat, and naturally, Locanda di Maregge was packed. Despite the packed house, the staff was simply fantastic: they never stopped smiling, offering us an impeccable welcome and a human warmth that truly makes all the difference. After a delicious lunch, we lost ourselves in conversation in a convivial and super relaxed atmosphere... I had a blast! A place with a real soul, where friendliness and good humor reign supreme. I'll definitely be back!

Yesterday, July 29th, we had lunch at this inn in Lessinia. It had a cozy, retro atmosphere, home cooking, and very friendly staff. From July 1st, the menu will be à la carte; I recommend booking, especially on weekends. I tried the excellent spaghetti with nettle pesto, polenta and wild boar, and a side of vegetables—all excellent. My husband and I will be returning during this holiday season.

Helpful and welcoming, it was a sunny day so we sat outside on the balcony in the shade of the umbrellas. The gnocchi were delicious, and the carne salada was even better. We'll be back!
