The baked goods are delicious and there is a mini market. The only problem is that there are no seating areas.

After years of staring at the beautiful window display from the street, fearing it was an overpriced bakery, I started going in this summer and was completely reassured! The slice of buckwheat cake was generous and delicious, while the slice of Margherita pizza, freshly baked, was the perfect snack after a long walk. The prices are completely in line with other shops; for example, the Margherita pizza cost me €2.50, as is the case at most similar locations. I also had the opportunity to try a savory brioche (good, I must say, but with a very "plain" flavor) and a pretzel, soft and with a distinctive flavor. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere was elegant and modern. It's a shame that it's just a bakery (and therefore a takeaway business) and doesn't have its own tables; so I had to eat what I had bought either on the steps in front of the shop, sitting for a few minutes, or walking around the historic center.

Excellent service, delicious baked goods, and the Sachertorte is equally delicious. We were slightly disappointed with the strudel, which seemed a bit subdued compared to everything else. Still, highly recommended if you're looking to try some local specialties!

Excellent bakery and typical South Tyrolean pastry shop

A bakery in Brunico's pedestrian zone. The staff is friendly, and the selection is extensive, both sweet and savory. The strudel is delicious, as are the poppy seed pastries.

Despite being very busy, the staff was fast and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our order. We tried a bretzel with speck and a focaccia with mortadella—both were tasty. I noticed many locals picking up lunch here, so I decided to give it a try, and it was worth it.

As a whole-grain bread eater from the absolute bread country of Germany, life isn't always so easy in other countries. But you'll find what you're looking for at this bakery! Absolutely recommended if you're looking for really compact, delicious whole-grain bread for your next mountain snack. And the sweet treats aren't to be sniffed at either :)
