Panificio Davide Longoni In Milano

I visited this bakery yesterday for the first time during my very short trip to Milan. Longoni is listed online as one of the best bakeries in Milan, so the desire to eat good bread brought me here. Let me start by saying that the bread is truly delicious. That smell of home, of Sunday lunches with the family, and sweet childhood memories, is all there when you eat your bread! Then my attention shifted to the staff. I was served by a young woman (with glasses, if I'm not mistaken). Well, alas, let's just say that the kindness, professionalism, love, and passion she puts into explaining the various types of bread, how they're made, and their entire history, almost surpasses the quality of the raw materials themselves. My compliments to this woman, because in just five minutes she took me, in my mind and heart, behind the scenes to experience what this product is all about. Really good, and I dare say this because I'm in the industry and it's not easy to find qualified people, but above all, people who put love and passion into what they do and know how to convey it 100%. So I'd say my experience was excellent, and it will definitely be one of my regular stops when I return to Milan.

Bread flavor, only for connoisseurs. With ancient flours and scents.

I am a regular customer, and I really appreciate the quality of their products. Up until now I had never stopped for an aperitif: good quality cured meats, average cheeses...but paying €25 for a small platter seems excessive to me. I do not recommend it for an aperitif break.

Sunday morning breakfast, we immediately find a lot of people. The products are top and the counter offers numerous proposals for both sweet and savory. The quality of the products is worth the wait, don't be discouraged by the queue because the cashier staff is very fast and available to advise you. Perhaps a little sacrificed the space dedicated to coffee, which in such a renowned place would attract many connoisseurs. Definitely a place to return to as soon as possible

Pasticceria super consigliata. Ci sono stata insieme ad una persona che non ama molto i cornetti ed ha provato la veneziana ripiena, ne era entusiasta! Io ho assaggiato pain au chocolat e l’ho trovato buonissimo. Era gigante, ben sfogliato e alveolato bene. Insomma mi sono innamorata!
