Excellent for a morning coffee with a pastry.
The pistachio croissant was so-so. A bit dry. Not buttery and flaky.
The pain suisse was very good. Could have easily had another one.

There's a wide selection of breads. It's a popular spot for locals.
Coffee must be ordered separately.

I've known the Bottarelli family's bakery since it opened. Over the years, it has expanded and improved, becoming a point of excellence and a point of reference for the entire Porta Venezia area, not only as a bakery, but also as a pastry shop, café, and hot and cold food outlet. For everyone, the name Bottarelli is now synonymous with quality. Highly recommended.

My favorite pastry shop as a French person in Milan. I 100% recommend their croissants, pastries, bread, and focaccia, even if the savory items are a bit pricey.

I frequent "Bottarelli" every weekend for a coffee (and a pastry) with my wife; I often return in the late afternoon for a focaccia! The quality is remarkable. Everything is good; the price and service are top marks! The staff is exquisite, especially the lady at the cash register (who I always have a chat with). The only flaw (and it's not the bakery's fault) is the majority of the customers. They're grumpy; they don't ask permission; in line, they're in a rush like a Formula 1 pit stop; if you're late in taking out your card, they start huffing and puffing and coming towards you, making you anxious!

A truly comprehensive bakery, perfect for breakfast, lunch, aperitivo, and afternoon snack. For breakfast, there's a wide selection of brioches, all well-leavened and generously filled; don't miss the cinnamon rolls. The desserts are excellent, from classics to more unusual options: I highly recommend the caramel pastry, a true delight. As for savory, the highlight, in my opinion, is the white pizza filled with cooked ham and melted cheese: delicious, especially because they heat it up on the spot.
With aperitivo, you really get to eat: they bring you a nice, rich and varied platter, not just the usual chips and a couple of peanuts.
In short, a place where you can find everything, and always of excellent quality. The staff is kind, helpful, and professional. Antonella, the owner, is always welcoming and cheerful. Simona, Aurora, and Luciana are very sweet. Chef Daniel is super friendly.
