Forget the "Feel at home" because there are places you can relax even more and get better food than "at home" and Pani e Casu which means Bread and Cheese is one of those places and by the way no fish here only Sardinian pasta specialities, good wine meat and dolcetti sardi, plus if Pierpaolo is in the mood you might enjoy live piano playing.

Food: Nothing special, nothing special, let's say an average between something good, like the meat cooked in every way, and the unfortunately cheap, discounted first courses.
Service: excellent, one waitress in particular was very friendly, as were the other staff, including the "colored" ones.
Ambience: unusual;
The bathroom hygiene needs improvement; it's truly borderline closed.
The prices are excessively high, but there's worse, given that Sardinian restaurants, especially those in Cagliari and the surrounding area, are now in gourmet mode.

A family-run trattoria, serving delicious, well-prepared traditional food. The staff is friendly and welcoming...a true gem. Remember to book (even the suckling pig, if you'd like). Highly recommended.
