Panholzer In Caldaro sulla strada del vino

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated since our last visit. We were so looking forward to it. The service was a bit overwhelmed. The food was nothing like it was back then. A shame considering the lovely ambiance. What a lovely evening. A wonderful atmosphere with delicious food and good wines to go with it. We felt like guests who come every day; they were super nice and friendly, and they took plenty of time to answer questions about the food. The only minor negative was that the wine we ordered didn't arrive twice. But everything else made us forget about it, because it was an evening we'd love to have more often. We'll be back next year on vacation and are looking forward to it.

I dropped in for dinner by chance and received a wonderful welcome. The tartar is particularly recommended, and they offer excellent wine recommendations as well as tips for the local area.

Great ambiance. Very friendly service. If you forget your reading glasses, they're available on site. Excellent. Very extensive wine selection. Small but fine menu. Very tasty dishes.

Very nice location, great wine list, attentive service. The menu has a limited selection. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. The quantities are comparable to Michelin-star fare. However, the taste and appearance are far from that.

We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant purely by chance while passing through. The outdoor area immediately conveys a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The service is first-class and friendly. We were recommended the perfect wine to go with the excellent steak tartare. We'd be happy to return.

Abbiamo cenato al Panholzer lunedì sera e siamo rimaste davvero colpite ! Un locale curato, elegante e accogliente, perfetto per una serata speciale. La cucina è stata una vera rivelazione: abbiamo ordinato la tartare di manzo, i ravioli fatti in casa e uno straordinario caprino caramellato. Tutto era semplicemente perfetto, ma il caprino merita una menzione speciale: così buono che sembrava finto da quanto era cremoso e ben equilibrato. Un’esplosione di sapori indimenticabile! Anche la tartare era eccellente, con carne tenerissima e condimenti sapientemente dosati. I ravioli, delicati e pieni di gusto, ci hanno conquistati dal primo assaggio. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: cordiale, professionale e attento in ogni momento. Si percepisce passione e cura in tutto quello che fanno. Una serata perfetta, da ripetere non appena tornerò in Alto Adige .Complimenti sinceri a tutto lo staff del Panholzer! 👏✨

Auf meine Mailanfrage vom 12.6.25 für 16.6.25 erhielt ich keine Antwort. Telefonisch nachgehackt am 13.6.25. Das Ambiente ist ja nach wie vorher sehr sehr schön. Das Essen hat sich aus unserer sicht gegenüber 2020 (Auswahl war damals nicht grösser aber attraktiver) sehr in Richtung schickimicki gewandelt, leider (die Gäste scheinen dies zu mögen). Die Teller sind teilweise Kunstwerke, allerdings im farblichen Bereich. Bruschetta/Büffelmozzarella/San Marzano Tomate/gelbe Beete/Kürbiskerne da kann nicht viel schiefgehen ausser, dass die Kürbiskerne fehlten. Karamelisierter Ziegenkäse /grüner Apfelmousse/Tomatenmarmelade/Petersilienpesto soweit okay. Zu den Vorspeisen hatten wir einen Aperolspritz und ein Glas offenen Sauvignon Blanc. Dieser wurde beim bringen des Rotweines (für die Hauptspeise) einfach schon mal abgeräumt obwolhl da noch ein Schluck im Glas war. Die Eierteigravioli/Ricotta/Basilikum/gelbe Tomatenemulsion/Rote Beete/Kapern war geschmacklich gut, Teller optisch fantastisch dekoriert aber die Eierteigravioli war sehr bescheiden klein. Risotto Carnaroli/Blaukraut/Forellentatar&Kaviar/Creme Fraiche/Meeresspargel, geschmacklich nichts spezielles, Forellentatar musste zwischen den Tomaten herausgesucht werden, aber auch dieser Teller ein Bild. Wir tranken je ein Glas offenen Merlot. Ungeniessbar. Habe dem Kellner dreimal mitgeteilt, dass dieser Merlot nicht passt. Er verstand nicht wirklich. Ich orderte ein Glas Lagerein. War in Ordnung. Kaffee und Dessert liessen wir aus und genossen dies in Tramin. Schade, aber der Laden läuft gemäss Rezensionen perfekt und das ist doch gut so für Panholzer.
